Lauren Boudreau
I am a versatile, experienced writer with a background in medical research. At the College of Charleston, I have developed strong skills in writing, editing, research, technical communication, and even professional mentoring. My coursework has included feature writing, literary portfolio development, and technical writing projects, including a research-based recommendation report addressing the housing crisis at the College of Charleston.
I have founded a student-led organization, Crafts4Kids here at The College where students can adhere to their creative side in pursuit of a cause. We have partnered with the Ronald McDonald House, making crafts for and with the kids and their families staying there. Now, I am serving as President of the organization.
I am a paraprofessional, currently working as an Academic Success Mentor for the Academic Success and Retention Office here at The College. I am helping students on academic probation develop studying and time management skills whilst finding a positive school-life balance. I will also be serving as a Life Design Coach this fall, fostering a supportive environment that encourages confidence, self-awareness, and creative problem-solving. Additionally, I have partnered with Student-Made at The College this past semester to sell my artwork on campus.
I am eager to apply my strengths in precise writing, organization, and attention to detail within a fast-paced clinical environment that prioritizes accurate documentation and patient-centered care.
